Arrival in Cochin & Drive to Munnar
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our executive. From there, embark on a scenic drive to the hill station of Munnar. Known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise,’ Munnar is surrounded by lush greenery, captivating hills, mountains, and endless tea plantations. En route, visit the Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel or resort. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Munnar.
Munnar Sightseeing
Wake up to a beautiful morning and enjoy a healthy breakfast at the hotel/resort. Today, you will be guided on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar, visiting important landmarks and attractions. Begin with Echo Point, followed by Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, and Munnar Boating. Explore the lush Munnar Tea gardens, the informative Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, and enjoy an optional elephant ride. Continue to the Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, and various Photo Shooting Points. End the day with some tea powder shopping. Additionally, visit the Eravikulam National Park (entry tickets at own cost) to spot the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and other wildlife species. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Munnar to Thekkady by Road (4 Hrs) with Thekkady Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out from the hotel/resort and drive to Thekkady, located near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel/resort and relax. Later, embark on a tour of Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest home to diverse flora and fauna, including elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques, and Nilgiri langurs. Take a boat ride on Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. After the boat ride, enjoy local shopping and visit spice plantations. Optionally, attend a Kathakali show or Kalarippayattu show (if time permits, at own cost). Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Thekkady.
Thekkady to Alleppey by Road
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey, known as the ‘Venice of the East.’ Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Explore the natural beauty of Alappuzha, famous for its backwaters, boat races, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Visit Vembanad Lake, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja temple, the Coir Weaving Industry (boat charges at own cost), and Alleppey Beach. In the evening, you can opt for an Ayurvedic massage and spa (at own cost). Overnight stay at the hotel in Alleppey.
Alleppey to Cochin / Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Cochin. Arrive at Cochin International Airport or Railway Station, marking the end of your memorable Kerala tour. Bid farewell to the beautiful backwaters and serene locales of Kerala. The tour concludes with happy memories
